Ditas is a co-operative wholesale society owned by approx. 80 member companies with a total of 180 builder's merchants and DIY stores in Denmark.
The primary activities of the company are Purchase, Import, IT, Education and Finance.
Ditas' purchase volume amounts to approx. 6 billion DKK and the total turnover of the retail stores is approx. 17 billion DKK per year.
Ditas is the parent company of the largest chain of builder's merchants and DIY stores in Denmark, XL-BYG.
Strength through international co-operation
Ditas is a major player at both Scandinvian and international level.
Joint ownership of the largest Scandinavian purchase grouping, Scandek I/S, and the international purchase company A.R.E.N.A. SAS gives Ditas an outstanding position in the negotiations with the largest suppliers on the market. Furthermore Ditas has very close connections to one of the largest purchase companies and marketing chains in Germany, hagebau.
